The Ground-Truth story
Built on what the ground shows
Ground-Truth Geotreasures grew out of more than twenty-five years of fieldwork across Nigeria's mineral belts — on foot, with a hammer and a hand lens, in the pegmatites and riverbeds where the country's gemstones actually come out of the ground.
The work began around Ijero and has since reached Nasarawa's tourmaline fields, the Oyo belts, Cross River and almost every mineral corner of the country. The name says how we work: check it on the ground first, then say it out loud.
"The rock doesn't lie. If you take the time to read it, it tells you exactly what it is worth."
